Qi Nightclub, Mansfield - The Odeon Cinema celebrates Hallowe'en with a premiere screening of new Bond film Quantum of Solace.

31st October

Mansfield Market Place - Free workshops from Mansfield District Council and Mansfield Town Centre partnership for childrem 10am-3pm, chance to make Hallowe'en keepsakes including bungee spiders, witches and bats; plus pumpkin, witches and cat masks and magic wands.

Chicago Rock Cafe, Mansfield - The Odeon continues its Hallowe'en celebrations with the launch of Saw V.

Bolsover Castle (6pm-midnight) - 'Hauntingly' history tours. Tickets cost 20 on 01246 822844. SOLD OUT

Portland Park, Kirkby - Youngsters can join countryside rangers for an evening of spooky activities - including crafts, fancy dress and much more. Details on 01623 757099.

1st November

Midland Railway Centre, Butterley - Fireworks Night Spectacular, frequent trains from 5.30pm. Fireworks display with music starts 7.30pm. Adults 9, children free.

5th November

Sherwood Inn, Leeming Lane North, Mansfield Woodhouse (7pm start - Fireworks display and bonfire. Refreshments and food available.

Rosebrook Primary School, Mansfield - Bonfire and fireworks evening, gates open 6pm, bonfire lit 6.30pm, fireworks 7.15pm, 5 per family ticket (2 adults/3 children). Tel 461118.

8th November

Forest Town Welfare Sports Field - Ultimate Fireworks Display, featuring a low noise display for young children and a large display for everyone. There will also be fair rides, stalls and a disco. Advance tickets cost 2, under 12s 1 while under fives are free with an adult. Entrance on the night is 2. Tickets available on 01623 624678.
