School children across Nottinghamshire have been dressing up as their favourite literary characters to celebrate World Book Day.
Donning character outfits from books as diverse as Harry Potter to Alice in Wonderland, the county’s youngsters have pulled out all the stops to mark the annual event, which celebrates reading.
