Woman who died at Creswell Crags is named

THE woman’s body found in the river at Creswell Crags on Tuesday, 28th August has been formally identified as 54-year-old Sharon Burgin from Worksop.

She was found just before 6.30pm on Tuesday and police began an investigation. Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police are compiling a report for the local coroner.
