West Nottinghamshire College student survey results
University-level students at West Nottinghamshire College have rated its provision highly in a national survey.
Almost 190 students on a range of degree-level programmes at the college took part in the National Student Survey (NSS) this year and gave a 91 per cent overall satisfaction rate.
The survey provides an opportunity for people studying at university-level to give their opinions on what they liked about their time at college as well as suggestions for areas of improvement.
This year’s overall satisfaction rate at the college is an increase of 11 per cent compared to last year. Scores have improved in all categories placing the college eight per cent above the benchmark of 83 per cent.
The survey includes questions on teaching, assessment and feedback, academic support, organisation and management, learning resources and personal development.
Head of higher education and international Eleanor Taylor said: “We’re delighted that our highest score is for teaching - this is a fantastic result for the college and all credit must go to the tutors and support staff who have worked so hard to provide a rich learning experience for our students.”
