The Met Office has forecast a day of sunny spells and showers today (Wednesday, March 30).
While some areas may stay dry, they said showers are likely to become more widespread later and locally prolonged.
Hail and thunder remain possible in the heaviest, with some snow possible on hills and a maximum Temperature of 10 degrees centigrade.
Remaining showers should die away to leave a mostly dry night with clear spells. Frost is possible in many areas by dawn given the largely clear skies and light winds, and lows of minus one degree.
Tomorrow will be a drier day, with further sunny spells and showers becoming lighter and more scarce.
