People who are eligible to vote in Derbyshire are being urged to make sure they are registered to do so.
The call follows £4.2m in government funding encouraging under-represented groups to enrol on the electoral register.
It was set up after national research confirmed certain groups, including young people aged 16 to 24 and people in social housing were less likely to be on the electoral roll.
Councillor Anne Western, Leader of Derbyshire County Council, said: “It is important that everyone in our communities has a voice – and one way people can make their voice heard is by voting.
