SUTTON got into the Christmas spirit on Saturday when the town’s Christmas lights were switched on by Ashfield Paralympic hero Ollie Hynd.

The celebrations were part of a two-day event organised by members of the Sutton Town Centre Group.

Liz Barrett, from the Sutton Town Centre Group, said: “We have worked hard to try and offer a wide range of activities and events which are either free or affordable.”
