Video: Items flood in for auction in memory of Ashley Clarkson

THE sister of tragic Mansfield Woodhouse soldier Ashley Clarkson says the response for auction items has been overwhelming.

Natasha Clarkson (23) has been collecting items to go under the hammer to help raise money and awareness for post-traumatic stress disorder.

Items include football memorabilia donated by players from Ashley’s favourite football team, Nottingham Forest.

Ashley, who was in the Royal Logistics Corps, died earlier this year after suffering from the post-traumatic stress disorder since 2009.

The 23-year-old had been found hanging at home in March.

His family are also organising a sponsored walk for later this month in his memory.

For more details read next week’s Chad.
