PATIENTS at King’s Mill Hospital will now be getting even better care . . . thanks to the success of Chad’s MRI Scanner Appeal.
The hospital took delivery of a new state-of-the-art MRI scanner this week following the successful completion of our mammoth fundraising drive, which aimed to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Speaking after the news was announced Chris Mellor, interim chief executive at Sherwood Forest Hospital NHS Trust, praised everyone involved for their generosity and hardwork.
He also described the hospital’s very own volunteers, who played a massive part in the fundraising drive, as ‘worth their weight in gold’.
