Vandals target vehicles in Mansfield

Police are appealing for witnesses after a spate of damage to cars in part of Mansfield.

Since the beginning of the month there have been eight reports of wing mirrors being broken on vehicles parked in Montague Street, Briar Lane, Little Barn Lane, Richmond Street and Mill Street.

In the most recent incident, which happened in Briar Lane on Saturday 13th October, the wing mirror of a Vauxhall Corsa was knocked off.

Witnesses have reported seeing groups of youths in the area when the damage has been caused.

Anyone with information about the incidents are asked to call Sergeant Jamie Bower, Mansfield East Neighbourhood Sergeant, on 101 extension 805 3167, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
