Chief Superintendent Mark Holland, of Nottinghamshire Police said: “The incidents that were witnessed at Field Mill last month were totally unacceptable and it is absolutely right that these three people should be brought before the courts and, in the case of two of them, banned from attending any football ground for a significant period of time.

“Law-abiding fans, including children, were left very distressed and frightened by the events of that day and it is important that they should know that Nottinghamshire Police takes a very serious view of incidents like this and we won’t hesitate to seek a prosecution if we have clear evidence of criminal behaviour in Nottinghamshire’s football grounds.”
