Two Bilsthorpe men charged after knife-point robbery in Farnsfield
TWO men have been charged in connection with a robbery in Farnsfield.
It happened at around 5.15pm on Wednesday 20th February when an offender entered the Allsorts newsagent’s in Main Street.
He threatened a shop assistant with a knife before fleeing with cash. No one was injured.
Brandon John Burbidge (20), of Eakring Road, Bilsthorpe and Curtis Whitehurst (19) of Church Street, Bilsthorpe, were arrested and subsequently charged with robbery.
Mr Whitehurst was also charged with possession of a Class B drug.
They were both remanded in custody by Nottingham Magistrates until their next court appearance at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday 15th March.
