Three men jailed after drugs raid at Mansfield house

Three people have been jailed following a police drugs raid on a house in Mansfield.

Class B drugs were found and £3,000 cash discovered under a bed at the property in Parkers Lane, Nottingham Crown Court heard.

The heaviest sentence of four years was handed down to Adam Horner (24), described as the leading light.

Horner, of Carter Lane, Warsop Vale, admitted possession of mephedrone and amphetamine with intent to supply, as well as having criminal property in the form of money.

Hannah Stuart, (21), of Springfield Close, Mansfield, was given 11 months after admitting possession of mephedrone with intent and possession of criminal property.

Nathan Pritchard (23), of Elm Tree Avenue, Mansfield Woodhouse, got 10 months. He admitted possession of class B drugs found in a car and an offensive weapon, a baton also found in the car.

Police with a warrant went to Parkers Lane on 14th February, said Sue Matthews, prosecuting.

Amphetamine valued at between £1,014 and £1,775 was found in a carrier bag in a freezer, as well as three bags of drugs on a kitchen surface and a rolled-up £20 note on a table.

Six weeks later police stopped a car containing the accused and found more than 30 bags of drugs in it.

A further search at the house revealed a mobile phone with text messages indicating Horner was the main person behind what was going on, the court was told.

He had been to prison in the past for class A drugs offences.
