Sutton man charged after armed police swooped on his home

Paul Craig, 56, of Brierley Cottages appeared before magistrates this morning where he was charged with possession of imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, making a threat to kill and possession of and offensive weapon (knife).

He was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court next month.
