Support meeting for prostate cancer sufferers in

THE next meeting of the North Notts Prostate Cancer Support Group will take place on Wednesday 5th September at 117, Huthwaite Road, Sutton at 7.30pm.

The meeting is an opportunity for anyone who has experienced the condition, either first hand or as a friend or relative, to meet up and share stories.

This month’s guest speaker will be Jo Gregg from Macmillan Cancer Support at King’s Mill Hospital. She will talk about everything Macmillan has to offer and will be asking for feedback on how a patient decides on their treatment options.

The newly-reformed North Notts Prostate Cancer Support Group is run by Bob Clark who has survived the disease.

The group provides support to sufferers and their families living in Ashfield, Mansfield and further afield.
