Stanton Hill dad slams Justin Bieber as ‘arrogant’ and ‘egotistical’ after disabled daughter’s two-hour wait

A STANTON Hill dad has slammed teen singing sensation Justin Bieber as ‘arrogant’ and ‘egotistical’ after his disabled daughter was left waiting two hours for the star to appear on stage.

Paul Marshall bought two £70 tickets to the Nottingham Capital FM Arena show on Saturday night as a Christmas present for his nine-year-old daughter.

But the youngster has now ripped her Justin Bieber posters off her wall and ditched his CDs following a traumatic evening.

The Canadian singer (19) whose hits include ‘Baby’ and ‘Boyfriend’, has 35 million followers on Twitter, known as Beliebers.

And the star was forced to apologise after leaving fans waiting at his 02 Arena gig in London on Monday night, but no statement has been made in relation to the Nottingham show.

Paul claims his daughter was distraught after the experience.

He said: “It was about two hours of waiting after the support artists who were brilliant.

“No one knew what was going on, people were passing out in the crowd and getting really fed up.

“Finally there was a 10 minute countdown at 10pm and he came on at 10.10pm - he was supposed to finish at 10.30pm. We walked out before the end at 11pm.

“It’s just not fair. She was a big fan but hates him now.

“I think he’s turning into an arrogant, egotistical teenager he needs to remember it was the fans who made him famous.

“I don’t know if it was deliberate. People are comparing him to Axel Rose for keeping people waiting but Axel Rose’s fans weren’t eight and nine-year-old girls.”

Paul added how traffic was horrendous outside the arena with all the waiting parents as they tried to leave and didn’t get home until 1am.

Following the London show Bieber posted on Twitter: “I was scheduled after three opening acts to go on stage at 9.35 not 8.30, but because of some technical issues I got on at 10.10.

“There is no excuse for that and I apologise for anyone we upset.”
