South Normanton-based firm Radius Systems are the latest business to show their support for Chad’s bumper £750,000 MRI Scanner Appeal after they stumped up a £500 donation.

The cash donation was raised via the company’s yearly staff raffle, with a staff committee deciding that the amount would be donated to the MRI campaign.

Radius Systems representative Peter Jellis said: “We decided that the money should go to the MRI scanner appeal due to King’s Mill being the local hospital.

“As a company we recognise the importance of this piece of equipment. We see that it’s a huge charity project, and Radius are more than happy to help.

We hope that more local companies will support the campaign, as if everyone does their small bit the task becomes a lot easier.”

Radius systems is a trusted manufacturer and supplier of polyethylene pipe systems and services and, although based locally in Derbyshire, have facilities situated in County Durham, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

Donations to our MRI appeal can be made by visiting Chad receptions, calling the cusomer services department at King’s Mill Hopsital on 01623 672222, by visiting Sherwood Forest Hospital’s NHS Trust website, through Just Giving or by cheque, with all cheques being made payable to Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charitable Funds.
