Somercotes murder victim’s family pay tribute to Jade Riley-Ward after her funeral
The family of Jade Riley-Ward, who was murdered in Somercotes last month, have paid tributes after her funeral this week.
They said in a statement: “Jade was a lovely, fun loving girl. She loved people and saw the good side in everyone she met.
“She was exceptionally hard working and had planned to embark on an accountancy course which was due to start in the weeks following her death; she had a great future.
“To lose her in such a tragic and sudden manner is hard to bear, she will be greatly missed by her close family and her many friends.”
Jade (30) was found at a house on Burke Drive and a post-mortem reported that she had died from multiple stab wounds.
