Kings Mill Hospital MRI Scanner Appeal launch.

A MANSFIELD supermarket is to place collection tins by the tills to help raise money for Chad’s MRI appeal.

Sainsbury’s Local on Wesfield Lane announced the news as part of their plans to show their ongoing support for our life-changing charity campaign.

Steve Moore, team leader at the store, said: “The MRI appeal is local and will help everyone around this area. It is a massive appeal and one we are happy to support.

“We used to support a children’s charity, but they have now closed down and we wanted to continue our charity work. Although we might only raise £60-£70 a month, every penny counts.”

The store are the latest business in Mansfield to offer customer collections and follows on from Rainworth hairdressers Wisps N Waves and the Four Seasons.

Donations to our MRI appeal can be made by visiting Chad receptions, calling the customer services department at King’s Mill Hospital on 01623 672222, by visiting Sherwood Forest Hospital’s NHS Trust website, through Just Giving or by cheque.

All cheques should be made payable to Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charitable Funds.

See the Chad website for all the latest news on the MRI Scanner Appeal.
