Drugs

Christian Thornton, 43, of Sherwood Street, Mansfield, admitted possessing a wrap of heroin and was fined £120 and made to pay £30 of costs. Two charges of failing to surrender to custody were withdrawn;

Simon John Bowskill, 32, of Langford Road, Mansfield, admitted possessing cannabis and was fined £145 and made to pay £115 in costs;

Craig Payne, 27, of Sanderling Way, Forest Town, admitted two counts of possessing cannabis and was fined £240 and made to pay £105 in costs.

Drink Driving

Marcin Makosa, 27, of North Street, Sutton, admitted having 116 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Renault Megane. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was banned from driving for 26 months, given 90 hours of unpaid work and made to pay £170 in costs and £50 compensation;

Ashley James Beard, 22, of Claverton Court, Colston Road, Mansfield, admitted having 62 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Ford Mondeo. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He also admitted driving without insurance and resisting a police officer. He was banned from driving for 18 months, fined £120 and made to pay £100 in compensation;

Luke Bird, 19, of Aberconway Street, Blidworth, admitted having 62 mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath in 100mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Suzuki Swift. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £120 and made to pay £115 in costs.

Charlie Joe Parsons, 19, of Lime Street, Kirkby, admitted riding an motorbike without insurance and without a licence. He was fined £150, given seven penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Marcus James Fraser, 22, of Brand Lane, Stanton Hill, admitted driving a Land Rover without insurance and a licence and was fined £120, given six penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Daniel George Edward Humble, 42, of Station Lane, Farnsfield, admitted driving a Porsche 911 at 72mph in a 40mph zone on the A52. He was fined £750, given six penalty points and made to pay £160 in costs;

Rhys John Keightley, 23, of The Fields, Rainworth, admitted riding a Honda motorcycle without insurance, a licence or a test certificate and was fined £250, given six penalty points and made to pay £110 in costs;

Karl Anthony Holden, 39, of Larkspur Close, Forest Town, was found guilty of failing to identify the driver of a Vauxhall alleged to have run a red light in Mansfield. He was fined £660, given six penalty points and made to pay £151 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Alistair Shanks, 56, of Portland Street, Warsop, was found guilty of failing to identify the driver of a Peugeot alleged to have been guilty of an offence and was fined £660, given six penalty points and made to pay £151 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

John Robert Dudley, 43, of East Lane, Edwinstowe, admitted driving a Jaguar on Rosemary Street in Mansfield at 50mph in a 30mph zone. He was fined £280, given six penalty points and made to pay £113 in costs;

Dwaine Alan Terrance Henry, 30, of High Street, Pleasley, admitted driving a Mini on Skegby Lane in Mansfield at 60mph in a 30mph zone. He was fined £265, given six penalty points and made to pay £111 in costs;

Zacharious Ivan Jackson, 18, of Forest Road, Kirkby, admitted riding a pit bike without a licence or insurance and was fined £120, given six penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Paul Haynes, 52, of Broomhill Lane, Mansfield, admitted driving Vauxhall on Rosemary Street in Mansfield at 57mph in a 30mph zone. He was fined £170, given six penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Mark Derek Kerry, 38, of Blackthorn Way, Sutton, admitted driving a Vauxhall on Kings Mill Road East at Sutton at 78mph in a 50mph zone and was fined £178, given six penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Christopher Peter Wilson, 41, of Ridge Close, Sutton, admitted stealing a purse and was fined £100, made to pay £30 compensation and £120 in costs.

Breach

Thomas Morland, 56, of Station Road, Rainworth was handed 14 days’ jail, suspended, for non-payment of a £205 fine imposed in February, 2016, and a £320 fine imposed in 2012.

Violence

Aaron Massimo Monington, 28, of Littleworth, Mansfield, admitted assaulting a female, assault causing her actual bodily harm and damaging a door worth £300. He was handed a community order with 60 hours of community service for each of the charges and made to pay £210 in costs.
