Theft

Martin Neill, 40, of Pear Tree Drive, Shirebrook, admitted taking a bicycle without the owner’s consent from Westgate in Mansfield and was given a 12-month conditional discharge and made to pay £105 in costs;

Gemma Jane Asher, 29, of Clayworth Court, Mansfield, admitted £95 worth of groceries from Asda in Forest Town and was fined £40 and made to pay £105 in costs;

Lindsey Simms, 32, of Vernon Road, Kirkby, admitted stealing food worth £62.55 from Aldi in Kirkby and was given a 12-month conditional discharge and made to pay £62.55 in costs.

Motoring

Ovidiu-Alex Crisan, 25, of Spencer Street, Mansfield, admitted driving a BMW without insurance along Great Central Road, Mansfield, and was fined £287, given six penalty points and made to pay £114 in costs;

Andrew Draycott, 50, of Frederick Street, Mansfield was found guilty of driving a Ford along the A38 at 70mph in a 50mph zone. He was fined £440, given five penalty points and made to pay £124 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Marcin Kobiela, 28, of Bathurst Terrace, Langwith, was found guilty of failing to identify the driver of a Vauxhall Astra that was alleged to have been speeding on Southwell Road West in Mansfield. He was fined £660, given six penalty points and made to pay £146 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Lucy Parkin, 27, of The Coppice, Shirebrook, was found guilty of driving a Vauxhall Zafira on Chesterfield Road North at Pleasley at 40mph in a 30mph zone. She was fined £220, given three penalty points and made to pay £107 in costs. The case was proved in her absence;

Charlotte Vivienne Cooper, 24, of Fairholme Drive, Mansfield, admitted driving a Nissan on Chesterfield Road North at Pleasley at 45mph in a 30mph zone. She was fined £250, given three penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Dr Fathi Yousef Algiurani, of Murdoch Close, Farnsfield, admitted driving a Vauxhall on the A60 above the 30mph limit and was banned from driving for six months because of his repeat offending. He was fined £750 and made to pay £160 in costs;

Patrick Brudzinski, 52, of Montague Street, Mansfield admitted five separate speeding charges while behind the wheel of a Vauxhall. They included twice breaking the 50mph limit on the A38, and three counts of breaking the 30mph limit on the A611 Derby Road. All offences were committed within a 16-day period. He was fined £500 in total, made to pay £105 in costs and given 17 penalty points in total. However, he escaped a ban because he successfully argued he could lose his job and would be unable to pay his debts;

Kenneth Beckett, 84, of Columbia Street, Huthwaite was found guilty of driving a Vauxhall on The Range car park in Sutton, without insurance and without due care and attention. He was banned from driving for six months, fined £180 and made to pay £105 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Bartlomiej Stanislaw Nowacki, 27, of Recreation Drive, Shirebrook, was found guilty of breaking the 30mph limit on the A60 while driving a Peugeot 407. He was banned from driving for six months because of his repeat offending, fined £440 and made to pay £124 in costs;

Andrew Neave Holt, 28, of Main Street, Farnsfield, admitted driving a Skoda and running a red light in Basford. He was fined £100, made to pay £105 in costs and given three penalty points. He was not disqualified after it was hard how he could lose his job;

Criminal Damage

Lindsey Elizabeth Dennis, 29, of Woodland Avenue, Huthwaite, admitting damaging a front door and window to a property on Chatsworth Street, Sutton, and was handed a community order, made to pay £50 compensation and £85 costs.

Sharon Parkes, 45, of Buckland Close, Sutton, admitted having 66 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Citroen C1. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. She was banned from driving for 18 months, fined £285 and made to pay £115 in costs;

Andrew Paul Bembridge, 29, of Hufton Road, Mansfield, admitted failing to provide a breath test when asked by police and assaulting a female. He was jailed for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, banned from driving for 24 months and made to pay £250 compensation to assault victim;

Patrick Brudzinksi, 25, of Bramble Lane, Mansfield, admitted having 51 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Peugeot 207. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £275 and made to pay £115 in costs.

Breach

David Leonard Bower, 33, of Peel Crescent, Mansfield, admitted going to an address prohibited so by a restraining order. He was jailed for 16 weeks, suspended for 18 months, and made to pay £75 compensation.

Gavin Gregory, 48, of Pennine Close, Huthwaite, admitted withholding information that could affect his housing benefit, council tax benefit and income support, namely having excess capital. He was jailed for 24 weeks, suspended for 12 months, and was made to pay £180 in costs.

Drugs

Freddie Holliley, 32, of Hibbert Crescent, Sutton, admitted possessing cocaine and was fined £300 and made to pay £115 in costs;

Dale Lee Dexter, 25, of Abbey Road, Kirkby, admitted possessing amphetamine and driving a Jaguar without a licence or insurance. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, banned from driving for six months, fined £50 and made to pay £30 costs;

Denise Patricia McGarry, 43, c/o Alexandra Street, Kirkby, admitted possessing pyrrolidinvalerophenone, cholormethcathinonea, dimethoxy amphetamine and ampehatmine, and was given a community order with 40 hours of unpaid work for each charge and made to pay £60 in costs.

Craig Shane Worthington, 33, of Saundby Avenue, Mansfield, admitted assaulting a female, breaching a restraining order, taking a Ford Focus without the owner’s consent and driving without insurance. He was jailed for 20 weeks, suspended for 12 months, and made to pay £115 in costs;

Eliot Lee Rodgers, 31, of Kingsway, Kirkby, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to another male and was fined £300 and made to pay £115 in costs;

Jenny Jones, 50, of Kirklington Road, Rainworth, admitted using threatening abusive or insulting words or behaviour and was fined £100 and made to pay £75 in costs;

Matthew Simon Adlington, 35, of Cross Lane, Huthwaite, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and was jailed for 18 weeks suspended for 12 months, given 120 hours of community service and made to pay £200 costs.

Adam Doo, 24, of no fixed address, admitted being drunk and disorderly on Mansfield’s Hibbert Road and was fined £60 and made to pay £30 costs. No further action was taken after he breached a conditional discharge.
