Theft

Tracey Anne Sharp 41, of Edward Street, Kirkby pleaded guilty to stealing clothing worth £316 from Next. She also admitted fraud in that she returned stolen items to the store claiming to be the legitimate owner to get store credit. Sharp also admitted fraudulently obtaining credit to purchase goods on a separate occasion. She was given a community order with 200 hours unpaid work within the next 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £761 and costs of £85.

Mark Craig 30 of Forest Road Annesley Woodhouse pleaded guilty to stealing 21 chocolate bars worth £40.74 from VM Morrison supermarket Kirkby. Craig also admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements made following a period of imprisonment. He was committed to prison for 10 weeks in total. Offence so serious because it was committed subject to post sentence supervision and aggravated by record of similar offending.

Kyle Paul Marshall 29, of Cropwell Court Mansfield was found guilty of assaulting a man on December 05 2015. A community order was made with a curfew requirement with electronic monitoring for 8 weeks from 7pm-7am. He was also ordered to pay £100 compensation victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £100.

Kieron Jones 33, of St Andrews Healthcare, Sherwood Oaks Business Park admitted assaulting a woman and a man. He was ordered to pay compensation of £50 to each complainant.

Rebecca Jane Davis 27, of Hazel Street, Skegby admitted assaulting a man causing actual bodily harm. She was committed to prison for 18 weeks suspended for 12 months. Reason for sentence she used a weapon (shoe) on two occasions causing injury that required a stitch . Assault out of revenge whilst in drink and on licensed premises. Curfew requirement with electronic monitoring for 12 weeks between 7pm-7am. Ordered to pay £150 compensation and costs of £85.

David John Deakin 54, of Chesterfield Road South Mansfield found guilty of assaulting a woman by beating in a case of domestic violence. He was committed to prison for 26 weeks. It was a sustained attack on a vulnerable injured person whilst on community sentence for assault on same person and no credit could be given because of his not-guilty plea before his trial. Restraining order imposed, victim surcharge of £115, costs of £600. No compensation was ordered because parties will reconcile.

Andrew Moore 41, of Saxby Drive Mansfield pleaded guilty to producing cannabis. He was given a community order with unpaid work requirement of 120 hours and costs of £85 and £85 victim surcharge.

Paul Richardson 43, of St Mary’s Road Sutton pleaded guilty to the production of cannabis. He was committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months. Reason for sentence was that there was a significant quantity of drugs and a record of previous convictions of drugs offences.

Drink Driving

Damian Mateusz Ewertowski 25, of Sutton Road, Kirkby admitted driving with 84mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath where the limit is 35 mcg. He was fined £340 with £34 victim surcharge and disqualified from driving for 20 months.

David John Wood 37, of Langford Street, Sutton admitted failing to produce a specimen of breath for analysis. He was fined £120, with victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85 and disqualified from driving for 17 months.

Richard Keith Taylor 25, of Welwyn Avenue Mansfield Woodhouse, pleaded guilty to driving with 145 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of blood. He was fined £300 with victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85 and disqualified from driving for 18 months. He also pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis , for which there was no separate penalty.

Zbigniew Mariusz Golebiewski 29, of Howard Road, Mansfield admitted driving with 75mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months, fined £250 with £8 costs and victim surcharge of £30.

Guy Nicholas Kearney 25, of Hatfield Close Rainworth failed to provide a specimen of breath for analysis. He pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, without a licence. He was committed to prison for 18 weeks suspended for 12 months. Offence so serious because of repeat like nature offending and breach of court orders. There was a rehabilitation requirement with unpaid work of 120 hours within the next 12 months, victim surcharge of £115 and costs of £85.

Mark Williams Evans 31, of Sandfield Road Kirkby pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis. He also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court having been released on bail. He was ordered to do 120 hours unpaid work and was disqualified from driving for four years.

Glen Guilor 55, of Pleasley Road Teversal admitted damaging an outer pane of glass window and door lock valued at £840. He was fined £230, ordered to pay compensation of £250 , costs of £150 and a victim surcharge of £23.

Fraud

Mark Andrew Geary 35, of Breck Bank, New Ollerton admitted dishonestly using a bank card at Heron Foods to purchase food items. He also pleaded guilty to dishonestly receiving stolen goods namely a Lloyds Bank card and a Sony Ericson mobile phone. He was fined £50 with £20 victim surcharge and costs of £150.

Miscellaneous

George Hockings 57, of Tithby Court Mansfield failed to comply with community requirement of suspended sentence order. Fined £30 with costs of £50.

Jamie Peter Richards 33, of Gladstone Street Kirkby admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from prison. He was committed to prison for 14 days; reason offence so serious because of failure to comply and poor record.

Brett Lee Ryan Huntley 23, of Layton Burroughs Mansfield pleaded guilty to driving a quad bike without insurance or a license and wilfully obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty. He was fined £120 and his driving record endorsed with eight points, with £85 costs and victim surcharge of £30.

Danny Lee Bowskill 23, of Hazel Grove Mansfield Woodhouse admitted breaching a community order made by Nottinghamshire Magistrates’ Court. He was committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. It was his second breach of the court order. He was given a 40 hours unpaid work requirement.

Kenny James Stevenson 26, of Shardlow Way Mansfield failed to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from prison. Committed to prison for 14 days. Offence so serious because of total non-compliance.

Sally Ann Munro 43, of High Street Mansfield Woodhouse, jointly with Lee Kemp, 37 of Cavendish Road, Worksop, entered as a trespasser into Lloyds Chemist at High Street Mansfield Woodhouse on April 4 with intent to steal. Both Munro and Kemp were committed to prison for 26 weeks and the sentence was suspended for 18 months . The court heard the offence serious because they had targeted premises, it had been a group offence done in drink and there had been attempts made top to hide identity. A Rehabilitation Activity requirement of 12 days was imposed, within the supervision period of 18 months. The pair were both ordered to pay £100 compensation with £85 costs.
