Rare foxes stolen from exotic pet shop in Mansfield
Police are hoping residents can help them locate a pair of rare foxes that were stolen from an exotic pet shop in Mansfield.
The two adult Corsac foxes, which are native to Central Asia, were reported stolen from LND Exotics, in Nursery Street, overnight on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th August.
The thieves broke into a shed in the rear yard of the shop and forced cages to access the foxes.
They would have had to use gloves and cages to transport them, as the animals, which are smaller than British foxes and have silver-grey fur, can be quite vicious.
If you have seen the foxes, or know of their whereabouts, contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
