Public consultation on plans for town square in Kirkby to be held today

A PUBLIC consultation is being held today (18th March) to discuss plans for a new town square in Kirkby.

The event, which is at Community CentrePoint on Diamond Avenue in Kirkby, will give residents and businesses the opportunity to view and comment on plans for the new public space within the town centre.

The plans will be available to view from 12pm until 6.45pm and there will be a public meeting to discuss the proposals from 6.45pm until 8.15pm.

The leader of the council John Knight and Coun Cheryl Butler will be presenting the plans.

Folk will also be able to view the plans at Kirkby Library on 22nd March from 9.30am until 1pm.
