Psychic Lee hits the airwaves in Ashfield

A PARANORMAL investigator will be bringing a bit of the sixth sense to Ashfield after signing up for a show on Takeover Radio.

Lee Roberts has been working as a psychic for the last 16 years and is now teaming up with staff from the community radio station alongside other new presenters.

After recently starting to present on the popular radio station, which is based at Sutton Centre Community College, he has organised a host of special shows to help further increase Takeover Radio’s audience.

“I was already a friend of the station and we started talking about how we could raise the profile again because it has recently lost some funding,” said Lee.

“At one point we did not have any presenters but I’m now doing three shows a week with Mat Davis, we have a bit of chat, music, and a daily topic, it’s very enjoyable at the moment.

Takeover Radio offers training to children aged eight to 14 years old who want to take up a career in radio or media.

“The station is for young people and I’m helping them a bit and giving them tips on how to be interviewed and how to conduct interviews,” he added.

Lee’s two young twins Eddie and Alfie are also heading for the record books after becoming the youngest ever radio presenters.

The two five-year-olds host The Teeny Tiny Takeover Show on Sunday mornings and Lee and his co-presenter Mat are going a world record attempt for the longest ever radio show in January.
