Police appeal for information after attempted burglary in South Normanton
Police are appealing for information following an attempted burglary at a house in South Normanton.
At around 1.40pm on Monday, 29th October three men tried to break into an address on Carter Lane East by smashing French doors to the back of the house.
The homeowners were in at the time and immediately called police.
One of the men threatened the homeowner who picked up a fire poker to prevent the men getting into the house.
The men then ran off in the direction of the East Midlands Designer Outlet.
The first man was described as white, around 6ft tall, of stocky build, wearing a dark coloured top, a black balaclava and gloves.
The second man is described as white, around 5ft 8in tall, of medium build and also wearing a balaclava and gloves.
The third man was white, around 20-years-old, with mousy hair, of medium build and wearing light coloured clothing.
