Police appeal after teenager is robbed in Shirebrook alleyway
A TEENAGER had his mobile phone stolen after a robber grabbed him from behind and threatened him in Shirebrook.
The 17-year-old victim was walking down an alleyway linking Swanwick Avenue with The Croft when the robbery happened.
A man grabbed him around the neck and told the teenager to hand over his mobile phone and wallet, threatening him with a knife. The victim handed over his Sony Xperia Arc mobile phone and the offender ran off towards Swanwick Avenue.
The robbery happened some time between 5.45pm and 6.30pm on Thursday evening.
The offender was described as tall and of medium build. He was wearing a ski mask or balaclava type head gear, grey hooded top, grey jeans and black trainers that looked new.
Police want to hear from any witnesses or anyone who might know who the offender is.
