Teversal community groups have created a memorial to the village’s fallen soldiers by re-dedicating an historic plaque.

Young and old residents attended a ceremony on Saturday marking both the start of the First World War and the donation of its playing fields.

The recently refurbished plaque on the playing fields was donated to the village by Lady Canarvon at the end of the First World War.
