THE jury in the re-trial of a man accused of murdering a Skegby pensioner is set to be sworn in tomorrow (Wednesday).
Peter Kenneth Smith (48) is accused of killing his 71-year-old neighbour Hilda Owen at her West Hill home in 2007.
The trial is due to last for eight weeks and members of a provisional jury at Nottingham Crown Court were dismissed at lunch time today (Tuesday) to find out whether they could sit for the duration of the hearing.
