Period cottages are a hot favourite
Period cottages in Nottinghamshire are soaring in popularity, according to a property expert in the county.
Steve Parker, associate director at FHP Living, said: “The perception of period cottages can be that they are dark, have really low ceilings and that they can feel a bit dingy, but that could hardly be further from the truth for a lot of the properties available in Nottinghamshire.”
“We have seen a number of beautiful cottages coming to the market and selling well thanks to their mix of traditional period features and spacious, modern living areas which may have been added as extensions or interiors remodelled.
“We have recently sold and completed on three stunning period cottages in villages across Nottinghamshire.”
