Natwest to close New Ollerton branch

Transactions at the branch has reduced by 35 per cent since 2011.

A spokesman said: “We have made the decision following careful consideration of a wide range of factors including branch usage and the alternative ways our customers can bank with us locally.

“We have reached an agreement with the local Post Office, which is 0.1 miles away from the branch so that our customers can pay money in, take money out and check balances.

Our customers are increasingly using alternative ways to bank such as online and mobile banking.”

The next nearest branch is 9.6 miles away in Worksop.
