Michael Winner at memorial ceremony

FILM director Michael Winner was among those present as Tracy Walker delivered a poignant speech at a memorial ceremony in honour of her late husband, Ollerton-born Pc Ged Walker, who died in the line of duty at Bulwell in 2003.

Mr Winner, who is chairman of the Police Memorial Trust, attended the ceremony along with Nottinghamshire Police Chief Constable Steve Green, far left, and Pc Walker's son Matthew, right.

Tracey unveiled the memorial stone at the junction of St Albans Road and Cantrell Road, where Pc Walker, inset, received fatal injuries while tackling a drug addict car thief.
