Mansfield man denies attempted murder of four-year-old boy
A 52-year-old Mansfield man, who denies the attempted murder of a four-year-old boy, has been further remanded in custody until another hearing next month.
Steven Frogg, of Frederick Street, appeared before Nottingham Crown Court on Friday when his case was adjourned by Judge Michael Stokes, the Recorder of Nottingham, for legal submissions on 23rd April.
Frogg is due to stand trial on 10th June. He has pleaded not guilty to attempting to murder the child on 9th April last year.
The boy was found with stab wounds on Frederick Street at about 1.30pm.
