Mansfield author Mark England to donate book profits to Chad’s MRI Scanner Appeal
A MANSFIELD Woodhouse author is to donate the profits from his latest novel to Chad’s MRI Scanner Appeal.
Kind-hearted Mark England, who is a water technician by day and writes in his spare-time, will donate cash to our life-changing campaign from sales of his latest book ‘This Lonely Incubus.’
The recently-released book is the second novel from his ‘The Tales From the Warren Trilogy’, which Mark hopes to complete in the near future when he completes the final chapter ‘200 Dying Sunsets Over Insularfield.’
The gripping novel, priced at £7.99 from Chad’s Newgate Lane reception, tells the tale of army special forces hero Paul Cable, who is critically injured during a covert operation in Afghanistan and is left in a deep coma.
From his hospital bed he discovers himself barely alive in ‘The Waiting State.”
Joined by a surprise ally, he is taken on a torturous journey of the past - a past he had tried to bury. A past of dark times in an unforgiving place, during the harshest of circumstances.
Only Paul Cable can decide whether he should live or die.
‘This Lonely Incubus’ is an incredible story through 1970’s-80’s childhood, 1990’s coming-of-age and a trip from timid child to highly respected trained killer.
Mark currently lives in Mansfield Woodhouse with his partner and is a father of two daughters.
