A man charged with pulling a gun on his partner will have his case heard at crown court.
Aivars Veinbergs (34) is accused of using the airgun to frighten his partner at their home on Leyton Avenue, Sutton on 14th January.
A Russian interpreter was brought into Mansfield Magistrates’ Court for the defendant, where Robert Carr, prosecuting, said the couple had got into an argument over immunising their baby, with claims that he did not want the youngster to be inoculated.
Veinbergs was also charged with being over the drink-drive limit and possession of a folding pocket knife.
Held on remand, a trial is to be heard at Nottingham Crown Court, and he to appear for his next hearing via video link on 29th January.
