Man charged over Kirkby man’s death

A 39-year-old man has been charged with the manslaughter of Kirkby man Colin Hall.

Scott Kennedy, of Hill View Road, Kirkby, was arrested on Friday, 15th February and questioned by detectives over the weekend.

Mr Hall (76) died following an attack at his home in Cornerpin Drive on the evening of Sunday, 10th February.

Kennedy is also charged with attempted robbery and a firearms offence in relation to the death of Colin Hall.

Another 33-year-old man, who was arrested in connection with the death, has been bailed pending further enquiries.
