Replacement buses will be in operation on part of Nottingham’s tram network this weekend as a section of line is closed for essential maintenance work.

On Sunday services to Phoenix Park will terminate at Bulwell tram stop.

Shuttle buses to and from Phoenix Park will be in operation throughout the day and will also serve the Cinderhill tram stop.

Lea Harrison, Head of Service Delivery, said: “The buses from Bulwell bus station, located close to the tram stop, will run at the same frequency as the usual tram services to Phoenix Park where our park and ride facilities will be open as usual.

“However, we apologise for any inconvenience caused and we would ask customers to allow a little longer for their journey.”

Services on other parts of the network, including the main line stop at Highbury Vale, will be unaffected by the works, and normal services to Pheonix Park will resume on Monday.
