Litter pick is planned for council project

Mansfield District Council is appealing for people to take part in a community litter pick in Mansfield Woodhouse as part of a week of action to improve the local environment.

The litter pick will take place on Thursday, June 16, from 1pm to 3pm, starting at The Royal British Legion on Slant Lane.

All equipment and protective gloves will be provided and children are welcome, although they must be accompanied by a parent or carer and must be under school age.

The litter pick forms part of a week of events, including dog-fouling patrols and fly-tipping enforcement.
