Kirkby Post Box to be painted gold and special postage stamps to be produced to honour Paralympic champion Ollie Hynd
THE Royal Mail will celebrate Ollie Hynd’s Paralympics gold medal win on Wednesday evening by painting a red post box gold in his home town of Kirkby today (Thursday).
Individual first class stamps, featuring Ollie’s image, are also being produced.
The gold medal stamps will be presented for purchase as a sheet of two First Class stamps for £1.20 with additional information on Ollie.
