King’s Mill Hospital raffle raises £899.01 for £750,000 MRI Scanner Appeal

A monthly raffle at King’s Mill Hospital has helped to raise nearly £900 for Chad/King’s Mill Hospital’s life-changing MRI Scanner Appeal campaign.

September’s raffle offered a variety of prizes donated by businesses and individuals and raised a grand total of £899.01.

A £50 gift card to be spent at any Asda store and two tickets to Disney’s Speed on Ice at Ice Arena Nottingham are amongst the main prizes being offered by the hospital for October’s MRI Scanner Appeal draw.

Tickets for the raffle cost £1 each and can be purchased from King’s Mill Hospital’s customer services department.

Shoppers at Asda New Ollerton will also be able to further boost our appeal by making donations in the in-store collection tins. The raffle will be drawn on Monday 29th October 2012.

Chad teamed up with hospital bosses on 27th June to launch the ambitious appeal to raise £750,000 to help King’s Mill improve their service by purchasing a new state-of-the-art MRI Scanner.

The scanner will help treat hundreds of thousands of patients over the next seven years and offer quicker and more detailed diagnosis.

Donations to our MRI appeal can be made by visiting Chad receptions, calling the customer services department at King’s Mill Hospital on 01623 672222, by visiting Sherwood Forest Hospital’s NHS Trust website, through Just Giving or by cheque.

All cheques should be made payable to Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charitable Funds.

See the Chad website for all the latest news on the MRI Scanner Appeal.
