Hospital raffle raises £450 for Chad/King’s Mill Hospital’s £750,000 MRI Scanner Appeal
HOSPITAL volunteers Judy Crooks, pictured from left, and Richard Lord (King’s Mill volunteers), Joy Wilson (senior customer services officer) and Jill Smallwood (vice-chairman of voluntary services) are pictured during a raffle to raise funds for Chad’s MRI Scanner Appeal.
The raffle, which is part of a regular series of fundraising raffles at King’s Mill Hospital, took place on 30th August and helped raise £450 for our ambitious appeal.
The next raffle will run during September, with prizes including a £50 shopping voucher, two Theatre Royal tickets to ‘The Rise and Fall of Little Voice’ on 1st October and wine and chocolates. The draw will take place on 27th September.
So far the life-changing appeal, which aims to help King’s Mill Hospital purchase a brand new state-of-the-art MRI Scanner, has raised just short of £70,000 since Chad teamed up with King’s Mill Hospital on 27th June,
The community-boosting campaign has already attracted widespread support from businesses and individuals, with The Mint, Il Rosso, The King and Miller, Vision Express and Mansfield Town Football Club amongst the many to have already pledged their support.
Donations to our MRI appeal can be made by visiting Chad receptions, calling the customer services department at King’s Mill Hospital on 01623 672222, by visiting Sherwood Forest Hospital’s NHS Trust website, through Just Giving or by cheque.
All cheques should be made payable to Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charitable Funds.
See the Chad website for all the latest news on the MRI Scanner Appeal.
