Half-term family fun at National Trust attractions

editorial image

YOUNGSTERS and their families will be able enjoy a host of activities at National Trust attractions during February half-term.

Bosses at the National Trust are encouraging children to get messy in its natural play areas where they will be able to build dens, balance on logs and scramble in the mud.

At Clumber Park there will be a chance to go on your own mud adventure, enjoy the mess around the park and share muddy experiences by joining the Clumber Mud Gang.

Beccy Speight, from the National Trust, said: “Getting messy is fun and if you wear wellies in the smaller sizes, February is a great time of year to get stuck in.

“It can be all too easy to hide away at home if it’s cold and rainy outside but whatever the weather, there are muddy puddles to splash in and mucky activities to get involved with, indoors and out, at our places across Nottinghamshire.”
