Get an insight into The Air Ambulance in Derbyshire

LIFESAVING charity The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS) is offering members of the public an insight into their fascinating work.

Local community groups as well as corporate organisations are being invited to book a presentation to hear about the innovative charity is doing in the Derbyshire area.

The presentations will include updates on recent developments and the news of the launch of the new Children’s Air Ambulance.

Members of the public will also be able to learn about the operational activities of the helicopter and its crew.

Tracy Grunwell, head of fundraising said “This is a great opportunity for members of the public to get a real insight into how The Air Ambulance Service works and what goes on behind the scenes of the lifesaving charity.

“We’re constantly growing and evolving and so it is also a brilliant chance for people to find out what we are doing in their local area and how they can get involved.

“We are also interested in talking to anyone who would be interested in becoming one of our dedicated volunteer speakers.”

To arrange a presentation call The Air Ambulance Service on 0845 4130999 or email enquiries@theairambulanceservice.org.uk
