More than £1,300 has been raised for Chad’s life-changing MRI Scanner appeal thanks to generous donations from town centre shoppers.

Visitors to Mansfield’s Four Seasons shopping donated their loose change in a large collection box, which was positioned in the centre after Four Seasons bosses vowed to back our ambitious appeal.

It is the latest community organisation in Mansfield and Ashfield to offer support as our MRI Scanner appeal continues to gain momentum.

Rebekah O’Neill, of the Four Seasons, said they had been happy to support such a positive community appeal.

“This appeal will really benefit the local community and ensure local people can get timely and accurate MRI results, from a hospital near to them,” she said.

“We have been encouraging our customers to empty their purses and wallets of their loose change for this great cause, and their response has been amazing.”

Anyone wishing to donate can find the collection point at Four Seasons, which is located by the Customer Services Desk outside Debenhams.
