A woman has appeared in court alongside her husband charged with the murder of her mother and father.
Remains were discovered at a Forest Town address in Blenheim Court between 1st May and 31st May 1998.
Susan Edwards (55) and Christopher John Edwards (57), of no fixed abode, appeared before Nottingham Crown Court this morning charged with the murders of William Godfrey Wycherley and Patricia Dorothy Wycherley.
Separated by a security officer, the couple stared straight ahead the defendants spoke only to confirm their names.
Susan Edwards was wearing a beige cardigan, brown trousers and a pink t-shirt, while her husband wore purple shirt and trousers and a v-neck sweater. Both defendants looked gaunt.
The next hearing will take place on 18th November and a provisional trial date has been booked for 2nd June.
Judge Michael Stokes heard Andrew Easteal, representing both defendants, say that they had given an account to police.
