Firefighters tackle Sutton factory blaze

FIREFIGHTERS spent nearly three hours tackling a factory blaze in Sutton this morning.

A crew from Ashfield Fire Station was called to a processing factory at an industrial site in Orchard way just before 4am on Thursday.

A fire engine from Mansfield Fire Station also attended as back-up.

Breathing apparatus and dry powder extinguishers were used to put the fire out which was on the ground floor of the factory.

The area was made safe a 6.50am.
