A MAN has been jailed for 12 weeks for breaching his Anti-Social Behaviour Order.

David Wheatcroft (39), of no fixed address, had been given a two-year ASBO for a series of anti-social behaviour and public order offences in the Sutton area over the last few years.

But he was arrested last Friday afternoon after police received a report he was drunk and scaring customers away from a Sutton town centre shop.

He appeared before Mansfied magistrates on Monday where he was hit with the jail term for breaching the terms of his order.

Under the ASBO, he had been told not to engage in any behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to any person in Sutton town centre, the Carsic estate, the Leamington estate, Skegby, Stanton Hill and Huthwaite - as well as the King’s Mill Hospital and Millbrook sites.
