Crown court appearance for man accused of murdering Somercotes woman Jade Riley-Ward

A RIDDINGS man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court today (Thursday) charged with the murder of a 30-year-old Somercotes woman.

Cornelius Leonard Brown (22) made his first appearance at Nottingham Crown Court accused of murdering Jade Riley-Ward.

She died at her home on Burke Drive, Somercotes, on Saturday from multiple stab wounds.

Brown, of Greenhill Lane, Riddings, was remanded in custody until 20th December when he will appear for a plea and case management hearing.
