Pupils, parents, staff and local residents braved the rain to support Mansfield’s Crescent Primary School during their annual Summer fair.

The school held the event to provide specialist outdoor play equipment for pupils, and with the support of the Friends of Crescent group, raised over £1,000.

The Friends have raised just over £9,300 so far.

There was plenty of fun for all including a raffle, Tombola, ‘hook-a-duck’, face painting, and head teacher-in-the-stocks.

The fair also featured a visit by the Clip Clop Pony Rides from Annesley, and a penalty-shoot-out with Mansfield Town FC’s mascot ‘Sammy the Stag’.
