Baptist Church

Pastor Sharon Craddock conducted Sunday week’s all-age service with communion. Luke Craddock gave a PowerPoint presentation and communion stewards were Barbara James and Alf Halfpenny. John Foster led the evening service and members of the congregation took part. Pianist was Hazel Williams. The church was open for prayer last Monday week. There was Pizza and Praise, on Wednesday week and a prayer lunch on Thursday week. Shirley Dicks hosted Bible study at her home in the evening.

All Saints’ Church

There was a parochial church council meeting last Tuesday week. On Thursday week the church hosted Newstead Deanery’s treasury meeting. Reader Eleanor Greaves led Sunday week’s evensong. Ina Halfpenny and June Boot read lessons and Tom Stimpson was organist. Ian Hallam led Brightlights Youth Group’s meeting.
